The Salomon Pioneer 3 MIPS is a lightweight all-mountain ski and snowboard helmet combining multidirectional impact protection, precise vertical fit adjustment and controllable ventilation.

Its In-Mold Construction fuses a lightweight polycarbonate shell directly to the EPS liner. MIPS helps reduce forces caused by certain angled impacts, while EPS4D improves energy absorption during both oblique and vertical impacts. Active Ventilation and internal Airflow Concept channels allow temperature and airflow to be managed as conditions change.

The Custom Dial V provides quick circumference adjustment and allows the fit system’s vertical position to be altered for different head shapes. MaxFit Construction uses V-shaped ear pads to create a comfortable, secure feel around the sides of the head, while the removable and washable liner helps maintain comfort and hygiene throughout the season.
