Peak Performance’s most advanced men’s freeride shell, offering exceptionally durable weather protection, a spacious technical fit and features developed for demanding mountain conditions.

The Peak Performance Vertical Gore-Tex Pro Jacket was developed alongside professional skiers for freeride, backcountry and high-alpine use. Its relaxed, below-hip cut provides generous coverage and enough space for baselayers, insulation and back protection, while articulated sleeves support unrestricted movement through technical terrain.

The 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro construction uses a durable 40-denier ripstop face fabric, an ePE membrane and a grid backer. It delivers 28,000mm waterproofing, complete wind protection and RET <17.5m² Pa/W breathability. Fully sealed seams and YKK AquaGuard zips reinforce its protection, while zipped underarm vents provide additional temperature control during climbs or high-output skiing.

A three-way adjustable, helmet-compatible hood provides secure coverage in exposed conditions, while the detachable powder skirt, wrist gaiters and adjustable cuffs help prevent snow entering the jacket. Multiple external and internal pockets keep essential equipment accessible, and the integrated RECCO reflector provides an additional searchable backup for professional rescue teams.

• Powder Skirt: Detachable snow skirt with a snap-in system for connecting the jacket to compatible Peak Performance ski pants.
• Pockets: Zipped hand pockets, zipped chest pocket, zipped ski-pass pocket, zipped inner pocket and internal mesh stash pockets, plus an integrated goggle wipe.
• Cuffs & Hem: Velcro-adjustable cuffs, elastic wrist gaiters with thumbholes and an adjustable drawcord at the lower hem.

• GORE-TEX ePE Membrane: The next-generation expanded-polyethylene membrane reduces material weight while maintaining dependable waterproof and windproof performance.
• YKK AquaGuard Zips: Water-resistant zips are used at exposed openings, including the two-way front closure, to reduce moisture penetration.
• RECCO Rescue System Reflector: Makes the wearer searchable by professional rescue teams equipped with RECCO detectors. It provides an additional rescue aid but does not replace an avalanche transceiver.
• Articulated Sleeves: Ergonomically shaped sleeves improve freedom of movement and reduce restriction when skiing or using poles.
• Fleece-Lined Chin Guard: Provides a softer and more comfortable finish around the top of the front zip.

FIT & SIZING

The Vertical has a relaxed technical fit with a below-hip length and dropped rear hem for increased coverage. It is designed to fit over baselayers, a midlayer, additional insulation and back protection. If you are between sizes or prefer a closer fit, consider choosing the smaller size.

CARE

• Machine wash at 40°C with the garment turned inside out and all zips closed. Wash with similar colours and do not use fabric softener, bleach, dry cleaning or professional wet cleaning. Remove the goggle wipe before washing. Line dry in the shade, then tumble dry on low or iron at a medium temperature to help reactivate the water-repellent treatment.
