Lib Tech T.Rice Orca II Mens Snowboard 2027
Surfy powder float, tight carving and a powerful tail in a compact freeride shape.
The Lib Tech T.Rice Orca II brings Travis Rice’s directional freeride design to riders who want one board for powder days and everyday resort riding. Its generous nose and wider platform provide float and room for committed carving, while the shorter overall length keeps it manoeuvrable through trees and tighter terrain.
The C2x rocker/camber profile balances easy pivoting with supportive response underfoot. A tight sidecut encourages quick, engaging turns, while Whale Tail Technology combines a short tail with a powerful finish for driving out of carves and popping off natural features. Magne-Traction edges add grip when softer snow gives way to firm patches.
For 2027, the Orca II uses Makah hemlock and paulownia in its wood core, together with an ocean-bound recycled-plastic topsheet. Fibreglass reinforcement supports its firm, responsive feel, while a knife-cut sintered base provides the glide to carry speed across the mountain.
