A versatile all-mountain freestyle board with the float and stability to explore beyond the resort.
The Bataleon ThunderStorm is built for freestyle-minded riders who want more freedom to explore the whole mountain. Its directional-twin shape combines a slightly tapered outline with an agile, switch-friendly feel, making it equally capable on groomed pistes, natural features, powder and occasional park laps.
High 3BT uplift through the nose improves float, while medium uplift through the tail keeps the board responsive without taking away its freestyle versatility. Medium Camber and a 6/10 flex provide pop, stability and confident edge control, supported by a lightweight core, carbon reinforcement and fast sintered base.

- 3BT: Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology raises the sidebases through the nose and tail, helping to reduce edge catches without sacrificing pop, carving performance or edge control.
- High Nose Uplift: Increased three-dimensional shaping through the nose generates additional float and helps the board move smoothly through powder and variable snow.
- Medium Tail Uplift: Moderate sidebase uplift through the tail retains the benefits of 3BT while maintaining responsive edge control and switch-riding versatility.
- SideKick: Increased sidebase uplift outside the widest points of the nose and tail improves float, cuts through tracked snow and helps the board roll smoothly from edge to edge.
- Medium Camber: Traditional tip-to-tail camber provides a balanced combination of pop, stability and dependable edge control.
- Ultra Light Core: A 70/30 blend of paulownia and poplar provides an excellent balance of low weight, strength and response.
- Tri-Ax Lamination: A three-way fibreglass weave creates a strong and responsive flex pattern for greater stability and energy transfer.
- D.S.T. SuperTubes: Two hollow carbon tubes positioned on either side of the board reinforce the camber and add extra snap and pop.
- Carbon Stringers: Strategically positioned carbon reinforcement fine-tunes response, stability and energy transfer.
- Ultra Glide S Base: A premium 7000-grade sintered base offers excellent speed, durability and wax absorption.
- FlexWalls: Urethane-poured sidewalls absorb impacts and reduce vibration, creating a smoother and more stable ride through variable snow.
- Step Down Rails Top 3D: A tapered topsheet profile above the sidewalls reduces weight and adds precision while carving.
- 24 Inserts: High-quality stainless-steel inserts provide plenty of stance adjustment and long-term durability.
