The Bataleon Cameleon is a directional freeride snowboard with a playful freestyle influence. Built for carving, cruising and finding fresh snow, it combines a tapered outline with three-dimensional base shaping to deliver smooth turn initiation, dependable float and quick edge-to-edge response.
Its distinctive FlexTail construction allows the tail to flex torsionally, release smoothly from turns and pivot with a surf-inspired feel. Medium flex and traditional camber provide a responsive yet accessible ride, while the lightweight core, carbon reinforcement and premium sintered base give the Cameleon the speed and stability to tackle everything from groomed pistes to powder and natural terrain.

FEATURES & TECHNOLOGY
- FlexTail: A strategically positioned urethane strip within the wood core allows the tail to flex torsionally, release smoothly from turns and deliver a responsive, surf-inspired feel.
- 3BT: Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology raises the sidebases through the nose and tail, helping to reduce edge catches while improving float and turn initiation.
- SideKick: Increased sidebase uplift outside the widest points of the nose and tail improves float, cuts through tracked snow and helps the board move smoothly from edge to edge.
- Medium Camber: Traditional tip-to-tail camber provides dependable edge control, stability and energy without making the board overly demanding.
- Ultra Light Core: A 70/30 blend of paulownia and poplar provides an excellent balance of low weight, strength and response.
- Tri-Ax Lamination: A three-way fibreglass weave creates a lightweight, strong and responsive flex pattern.
- D.R.S.T. SuperTubes: Six hollow carbon tubes run parallel to the board’s radius, reinforcing the camber and directing additional power towards the edges.
- Carbon Stringers: Strategically positioned carbon reinforcement fine-tunes response, stability and energy transfer.
- Ultra Glide S Base: A premium 7000-grade sintered base delivers excellent speed, durability and wax absorption.
- FlexWalls: Urethane-poured sidewalls absorb impacts, reduce vibration and create a smoother, more stable ride through variable snow.
- Step Down Rails Top 3D: A tapered topsheet profile above the sidewalls reduces weight and adds precision while carving.
- 24 Inserts: High-quality stainless-steel inserts offer plenty of stance adjustment and long-term durability.
