A lightweight, fully seam-sealed shell with Armada’s roomy Team Fit, designed for comfortable layering and reliable all-season mountain protection.

The Armada Ansel 2L Shell Jacket combines technical weather protection with the relaxed shape of Armada’s athlete-led outerwear. Its shorter, boxier cut and generous sleeve volume provide an unrestricted feel that works particularly well for freestyle skiing and snowboarding.

The lightweight two-layer nylon ripstop fabric delivers 10,000mm waterproofing and 10,000g breathability, while a PFAS-free durable water-repellent finish helps moisture bead away from the surface. Fully sealed seams reinforce the waterproof construction, and the uninsulated design leaves plenty of flexibility to adjust your layering throughout the season.

A helmet-compatible hood, pit vents, stretch powder skirt and adjustable cuffs provide the practical protection needed for mountain use. The large interior storage pocket, secure media pocket and fleece-lined hand pockets keep everyday essentials organised and accessible.

FIT & SIZING

The Ansel uses Armada’s Genderless Team Fit, an athlete-inspired shape with a straight, boxy body and a shorter overall length. The chest, hem, armholes and sleeves are deliberately generous, providing a distinctly baggy look with plenty of room for mid-layers. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size for a looser silhouette.

Chest, waist and hip figures are body measurements. Arm length is measured from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder and down to the wrist. Front length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the jacket hem.

CARE

Machine wash cold at 30°C with similar colours using a gentle technical wash. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Remove promptly after washing and tumble dry on a low setting.
