The 686 Standard Shell Pant is designed for riders who want reliable mountain protection without unnecessary complication. Its uninsulated construction provides the flexibility to adjust warmth using your own base and mid layers, making it suitable for a wide range of winter temperatures.

The two-layer infiDRY nylon fabric delivers 10,000mm waterproofing and uses a PFAS-free durable water-repellent finish to help shed moisture from the surface. Critically taped Bemis seams protect the areas most exposed to snow and water, while the windproof shell provides an additional barrier in colder conditions.

A regular fit provides comfortable space for movement and layering without feeling excessively loose. Air-Flo inner-leg vents help control temperature, boot gaiters keep snow away from the boots, and a five-pocket layout provides practical storage for everyday mountain use.

• Follow the care instructions shown on the garment label.
• Wash using a specialist technical outerwear detergent such as Nikwax Tech Wash.
• Do not use standard detergent or fabric softener, as these can affect the waterproof membrane and DWR finish.
• Close all zips and fastenings before washing.
• Reproof the outer fabric when water no longer beads effectively from the surface.
