The 686 SMARTY 3-In-1 Form Jacket is designed for skiers and snowboarders who want one system capable of handling a wide range of temperatures and conditions. Wear the shell and liner together on colder days, use the shell on its own in milder weather or remove the puffer and wear it independently away from the mountain.

The two-layer infiDRY 20K shell delivers 20,000mm waterproofing and 15,000g breathability, supported by fully taped seams and a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. Inside, the removable thermal puffer uses 160g infiLOFT insulation with stretch fleece side panels, providing substantial warmth without making movement feel restricted.

Its regular fit balances layering space with a clean, practical shape. Air-Flo underarm vents help regulate temperature, while the helmet-compatible hood, powder skirt, jacket-to-pant connection and nine-pocket layout make it comprehensively equipped for full days on the mountain.

The SMARTY 3-In-1 Form Jacket uses 686’s Regular Fit, providing comfortable room for movement and layering without feeling excessively loose. The removable puffer has been designed to work with the shell, so the jacket should normally be selected in your usual size. Most customers find the fit true to size.

686 Men's Body Measurements

These are body measurements supplied by 686. Arm length is measured from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder and down to the wrist. Low waist is measured approximately 1.5 inches below the natural waistline.

CARE

• Follow the instructions on each garment’s care label and remove the puffer liner before washing. Use a detergent formulated for technical outerwear, such as Nikwax Tech Wash, to help preserve the shell’s waterproof and breathable performance.
