A versatile men’s 3-in-1 cargo pant combining a highly waterproof shell, removable fleece jogger and durable mountain-ready construction.

The 686 SMARTY 3-in-1 Cargo Pant provides three useful wearing options from one system. The waterproof outer pant can be worn independently in milder weather, combined with the removable fleece jogger for colder mountain days, or separated so the jogger can be worn casually away from the slopes.

The two-layer infiDRY fabric delivers 20,000mm waterproofing and 15,000g/m²/24h breathability, with fully taped Bemis seams and a PFAS-free durable water-repellent finish. This provides strong protection in wet and snowy conditions while allowing heat and moisture to escape during more active skiing or snowboarding.

Its regular fit provides room for movement and layering without feeling excessively loose. Air-Flo inner-leg vents improve temperature control, while reinforced kick panels and hems protect high-wear areas. A 12-pocket layout, adjustable waist and boot-compatible gaiters complete a practical pant designed for changing conditions and regular mountain use.

FIT & SIZING

The SMARTY 3-in-1 Cargo Pant uses 686’s Regular Fit, providing comfortable space through the seat, thighs and legs without creating an excessively oversized silhouette. Choose your normal size for the intended fit and enough room to wear the fleece jogger underneath. Short versions have a 5cm shorter inseam, while Tall versions have a 5cm longer inseam than the standard length.

CARE

• Remove the fleece jogger before washing and follow the care label for each garment.
• Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C using a specialist technical outerwear detergent.
• Do not use standard detergent or fabric softener, as these can affect the waterproof membrane and DWR finish.
• Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
• Reproof the outer shell when water no longer beads effectively from the surface.
