A loose-fitting technical shell that combines dependable weather protection with the unmistakable oversized influence of early snowboarding.

The 686 1994 Liberty Jacket is a limited-edition reissue inspired by one of the brand’s earliest technical jackets. Designed for skiing and snowboarding both on and off the mountain, it combines a relaxed retro shape with the practical protection required for changing winter conditions.

Its two-layer infiDRY 10K fabric provides 10,000mm waterproofing and 10,000g breathability, while the PFAS-free water-repellent finish helps moisture bead away from the surface. The shell construction uses a hanging lining rather than bulky insulation, leaving space to adjust your layering according to the temperature.

The loose fit provides plenty of room through the body and sleeves without restricting movement. Air-Flo underarm vents help release excess heat, while the helmet-compatible hood, powder skirt, jacket-to-pant connection and five-pocket layout make it properly equipped for long days on the mountain.
