Our Ex-Demo Ski Collection, has been purchased directly from K2 Skis Skis UK. The Skis have have been used on a 5 day British Ski Industry Ski Test in the Alps, as well as 3-4 Demo Days at indoor slopes in the UK. 

The Skis and Bindings are generally in great condition, which can be seen in the images. These skis have been used, so will have minor scratches on the top sheet and bindings. We have produced a condition report to give you a better idea of the condition, please see below.

The Disruption 78C benefits from hand-me-down technology that allows us to pack in features that put other skis in this price range to shame. Equipped with a Speed Rocker profile, Dark Matter Damping and the lightweight agility of our Carbon I-Beam construction and you have a speed-oriented ski that will let you hang with the best.

The Disruption 78C is packaged with the Marker M3 11.0 Compact QC GW bindings. A lightweight binding system with the Triple Pivot Comfort toe and a compact heel for comfort and a secure feel. These bindings can be adjusted to any adult ski boot size in seconds, no tools required! The M3 11.0 is compatible with both GripWalk and Alpine ski boot soles.

SKI TECH

• Dark Matter Damping - Space. The final frontier. The object of many a child’s fascination. And yet with so much of this supra terra discovery, there’s still so much to uncover. We harnessed this great unknown —these depths beyond the conception of gravity as we know it — to improve edge contact on rough and firm snow. It’s called Dark Matter Damping — a process in where we sandwich a polymeric damper between two layers of high modulus carbon, and strategically place it along the ski edge. While your grasp of the outer reaches of our celestial sphere may be limited, DMD is a much simpler construct: improved edge grip and control. And with more grip and control, you can push faster, harder, and pull in to the turn like never before. Get ready for liftoff, it’s time to rage.
• Carbon I-Beam - ull length uni-directional carbon running from tip to tail, providing increased accuracy and energy along the entire length of the ski.
• PowerWall - Power transfer is dramatically enhanced with the oversized ABS sidewalls that are laminated and pocketed within the woodcore in the midbody of the ski. With the sidewall extending into the heart of the ski, the transmission of energy from skier to ski edge is direct and precise.
• Speed Rocker - Short and low rise in the tip for quicker turn initiation and precise steering.
• Aspen Veneer - Lightweight and resilient, aspen is a great all-around core material.

Here at Snow Lab, we offer a free bindings set-up service, for all of our Ex-Demo skis. To take advantage of this service, we will need the following details from you.

• Skiers Ability (1-10)
• Ski Boot Length (mm)*
• Ski Boot Sole Type (Gripwalk / Touring / Alpine)

*The boot sole length is usually stamped into the outer plastic shell of the boot around the heel area. eg It should read something like 307mm. Please note this is not the size of your boots but the toe to heel measurement of the sole of the boot.
