Our designers called it “the banked slalom board” from day one, so you know it’s built to turn. The Speed Date features a special blend of Balanced Freeride Geometry that thrives on all terrain. Directional Camber combines with a unique shape, aggressive sidecut and just the right amount of taper to burn turns and eat berms for breakfast. BOARD SPECS SIZE: 156cm ABILITY: Advanced / Expert TERRAIN: Park 4/10 | Groomers 9/10 | Powder 8/10 PROFILE: Directional Camber SHAPE: Directional WIDTH: Standard RECOMMENDED RIDER WEIGHT: 150-200 lbs. / 68-91 kg BOARD TECH & FEATURES Directional Camber - Entry rocker causes the nose to lift while camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. Freeride Directional Shape - Twin or directional is the age-old question for creative rippers like Terje. Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and a sidecut that is centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck. 7mm Taper - A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow floatation. Look for different amounts of taper throughout the line. Directional Flex This flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions. FSC Certified Dragonfly 600G Core - Use of end-grain woods in impact zones allows us to swap heavier woods for lighter weight species without sacrificing strength. Multizone EGD - ENGINEERED WOOD GRAINS FOR MORE EDGE-HOLD, RESPONSE, AND STRENGTH. In four separate zones, the wood grain is perpendicular to the core adjacent to The Channel®—the area from which a rider’s power emanates—for ultimate strength and edge control. Squeezebox 1 - SOFTER/THINNER ZONES 2 - THICKER/STIFFER ZONES Profiled core for easier board control, more energy, and pop. Our most versatile Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate. 45° Carbon Highlights 1 - TOPSHEET 2 - TOP GLASS 0°/UDG & +/- 45° STITCHED 3 - CORE 4 - BOTTOM GLASS 0°/ CARBON & +/- 45° STITCHED 5 - BASE Carbon Highlights optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 60° fiber angle creates a highly maneuverable and playful feel, while a 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride. Hi-Voltage models like the Custom X and Custom X Flying V include the addition of carbon strands to the angled fiber layers to add life and further reduce weight. Recycled Sintered WFO Base - Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition. The Channel - Stronger, faster, easier, and designed to help dial-in the perfect stance for you - The Channel gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton's). Super Sap - Epoxy Super Sap is a resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board, which is good in our book. Pro-Tip - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility. Infinite Ride - This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Flat Top, Flying V, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season. Please Note: This snowboard will come with 4 x M6 inserts, to mount your bindings to the Snowboard. However, the screws do not. The screws should come with the bindings
