Scott Venture Skis

New to Scott's 2012 line, the Venture is built based on the Mission chassis. The Venture is wider underfoot allowing it to perform in steeper terrain but has enough sidecut to destroy picture-perfect corduroy. Venture-Tip Rocker reduces snow friction and gives the tip of the ski the ideal combination of float and turning agility.

Features:

Dual Radius

Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. Scott skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating he Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, the result is a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain.

Pre Track

In developing Pre-Track, Scott designed skis with wide tips and/or slightly turned up tails. This allows for a variable effective edge depending on terrain. With Pre-Track, Scott skis employ a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable, reliable and versatile ski.

Factory Finish

Scott skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with Scott’s factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

Venturi Tail

Already proved on the Pure ski that this features gives a better stability in turn completion in any quality of snow.

Venturi-Tip Rocker

The way to avoid reliefs and bumps of the outbound terrains off pist. That technology helps skis for a better maniability, comfort and increase the speed with safety. Combined with Venturi, Venturi-Tip Rocker is a unique feature in the ski industry.

SSCL VTT

SSCL-VTT couples SSCL construction with Scott’s VTT tip and tail concept. The result is a lively ski that performs exceptionally both on piste and off.
