Dual Radius

Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. Scott skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating he Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, the result is a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain.

Pre Track

In developing Pre-Track, Scott designed skis with wide tips and/or slightly turned up tails. This allows for a variable effective edge depending on terrain. With Pre-Track, Scott skis employ a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable, reliable and versatile ski.

Factory Finish

Scott skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with Scott’s factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

Venturi Tip & Tail

A new specific geometry on tip & tail area which allows the skis to avoid too much pressure building during initiating and completing the turns; skis become more lively on piste and then less when hitting the heavy snow or off piste conditions.

Venturi-Tip Rocker

Venturi-Tip Rocker combines a hollowed shape with a rocker tip. The resulting Venturi-Tip Rocker design effectively decreases the skis’ surface pressure in deep snow, while Rocker allows the tip to be elevated to the surface, yielding a highly versatile performer in both deep snow and variable conditions. The benefts are; Excellent float and turn initiation, stability at high speeds in all conditions
and reduced surface pressure resulting in improved ski handling

SSC Titanal (SSCT)

This classic construction SSC combines a Titanal top and bottom; cap finish radius on the upper part of the construction for maximuml protection
