Dual Radius

Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. Scott skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating he Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, the result is a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain.

Factory Finish

Scott skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with Scott’s factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

SSC Laminate SSCL

SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with classic Sandwich Sidewall Construction construction. SSCL skis are slightly more forgiving than SSC skis and remain equally responsive. SSCL ski have a specific braiding and laminate combination to guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

PRO-TIP ROCKER

Combining a progressive shape with increased tip height and radius creates Pro-Tip Rocker. Scott’s Pro-Tip produces a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns. SCOTT skis using Pro-Tip Rocker simply track better than the competition and are available in three heights catering specifically to the skis’ intended use: 300mm (Precision On-Piste), 350mm (All-Mountain) and 375mm (Freeride).
