Rossignol Alltrack 70 W 2016 Womens Ski Boots Pink / Violet

A revolutionary fusion of power, precision, and hiking performance for women, the new ALLTRACK 70 W delivers award-winning freeride versatility for intermediate skiers. Compatible with WTR "Walk to Ride" rocker soles for easier, more comfortable hiking and walking, and powered by Posi-Block cuff technology, Alltrack offers the ski/hike convenience of a releasable-cuff freeride boot combined with traditional "pinned-cuff" power and precision on the descent that continues to go unmatched. Featuring a wider, more forgiving 102mm fit, Sensor Grid shell technology, and women-specific OptiSensor 3D liners, ALLTRACK delivers optimized foot wrapping, comfort, warmth and support. Durable grip soles ensure increased traction and durability; WTR rockered soles are sold separately for even easier hiking and walking.

Features:

Sensor Grid 102mm

Working on detail to eliminate the non-essential, getting as close as possible to the ultimate pleasure on the slopes... the core properties of a good boot are no secret: a shell that is rigid enough to transmit energy and sensations together with the lightness needed for freedom of movement. This dual objective led to the Sensor Grid concept. A clearly visible grid built into the shell both inside and outside 1. Enhances the shell while reinforcing its torsional and flexural rigidity. The result is a shell that weights 10% less than an equivalent traditional boot for ultimate ski performance. 2. Improves foot wrap thanks to the diagonally structured frame, enabling more precise steering.

Womens Liner

All women's shells have liners specifically designed to suit the female form.Women's liners are cut lower to accommodate the female calf shape. They also have a more open shape for a more comfortable fit. The padding in the upper liner is very flexible to prevent any discomfort around the calf. The lining materials are very soft and comfortable, designed so you'll want to put your foot in the boot.

Dedicated Women's Cuff

The height of the cuff is significantly lower than for a unisex cuff. The tulip-shaped rear section easily accommodates a woman's natural calf shape. It is less structured to take better into account the female skiers' physiology.

Diagonal Buckles / Alltrack

Rossignol's patented system has bails and catches angled in a diagonal direction, giving a more natural foot wrap and holding the heel securely in place. On PRO models the buckles are very slender with cutaways for added lightness. The lever is wide for high power closure and easy gripping.

Anti-Slip Sole

To prevent slipping when walking on rocky terrain or on steps, ALLTRACK boots have a rubber anti-slip sole between the heelpieces.

Easy Entry Insert

An insert made of more flexible material is included at the instep, making it easier to pull the boot on and off.

Hike Mode Cuff

A lever at the rear of the cuff lets you change very easily from SKI position to HIKE position and vice versa. Lever up: hike position Lever down: ski position

Optisensor 3D Liner

Because everything starts with the foot, the ALLTRACK liner was meticulously designed around it. Every morphological detail is important and requires the appropriate materials. Each area of the foot plays its own role in ski steering control. The OPTISENSOR 3D liner was designed with these imperatives in mind.

  1. SUPPORT ZONE Rigid materials at the rear of the liner provide perfect heel support for guaranteed precision.
  2. WRAPPING ZONE At the instep, the positioning of materials and their design optimizes envelopment for excellent control. Laces, provided in the box, allow wearers to extend lower leg wrap for even better performance.
  3. COMFORT ZONE The ankle bones are a sensitive area, often prone to problems. To ensure absolute comfort, this zone is covered with a flexible material across the entire liner.
  4. MOBILITY ZONE On both sides of the liner, an elasticated section lets the liner rock toward the rear in HIKE position for easier climbing and walking.

Rocker Sole

Boots in the ALLTRACK range are delivered with heel pieces conforming to the ALPINE - ISO 5355 standard Heelpieces conforming to Touring (ISO 9523) and WTR standards are available in kit form. These rubber Rocker heelpieces make walking significantly easier through improved surface grip due to a natural foot roll. Their design also enables a very high level of skiability, with the rigid zones giving the boot added strength under torsion. With the WTR standard, they offer a safety level identical to ALPINE ISO soles in bindings with the WTR standard (LOOK XM) 2 heelpiece kits are available - for boots with anti-slip soles and for boots without anti-slip soles.

Thinsulate® Insulation

This liner has excellent thermal insulation thanks to the use of THINSULATE®, a technical fiber developed by 3M. The thermal imaging studies carried out in our laboratories show that Thinsulate® provides the best thermal insulation currently available on the market. A very thin fiber, it does not affect the technical characteristics of our liners, but enables excellent foot envelopment for great skiability.

Walk To Ride

WALK TO RIDE - is a specific label certified by the TÜV (Certification and Inspection body), which guarantees official compatibility between the bindings of specific skis and specific heelpieces. These heelpieces make walking easier without compromising on safety and performance thanks to the TÜV label.

Sizing Guides

Sizing Charts

To help you to work out sizings, we have devised the following size guide. It is generic and not specific to any particular brand so especially with clothing it is best to either call for our opinion or cross reference the manufacturers individual size guides. Please click one of the links to get to the relevant chart below:

Ski length, Snowboard length, Snowboard Bindings, Boot sizes, Clothing sizes, Glove sizes.

Ski length

We have devised a simple chart to assist you in selecting your correct ski length. If you require any further assistance, our staff will be only to happy to help.

Weight (stones) 5-6 6-7 7-7.5 7.5-8.5 8.5-9.5 10-10.75 11-11.25 12.5-13.5 13.5+
Weight (kilos) 32-38 38-43 43-47 48-54 57-62 63-69 70-79 80-86 87+
Length (cm's) 125 135 145 155 160 165 170 170 175

Level 1/2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 5/6 Level 7/8 Level 9/10
Skiing for the first time Able to ski green/blue runs Able to ski Blue/Red runs Able to ski all pisted runs in good conditions Able to ski all runs on/off piste in good conditions Able to ski anywhere on the mountain
-15cm -10cm -5cm 0 cm +5cm +10cm

1. Select your weight level. The ski length at the bottom of your weight column is your suggested starting length.

2. Now select your abilty level, the amount in cms at the bottom of your ability level is added to or subtracted from your starting length.

3. Add a further 5cm if you are spending 60% or more of your time off Piste.

4. By adding the above together you will have found your recommended ski length.

By adding your Ski length to your ability you will have found your recommended ski length. For example a person weighing 75kg, who is a level 7 skier will ski on length of 170 + 5cms = 175cms.

This ski length chart is a guide as not all skis end in 5 or 0 cms and therefore suggest you ski closest to the recommended length

Snowboard Length

Snowboard sizing is determined purely by weight. Ability determines flex - beginners should choose a board with a softer more forgiving flex, whilst more advanced riders would normally prefer a stiffer board.
